Jarmila Szilasiova

Assoc. prof. Jarmila Szilasiová, MD, PhD (specialization: neurology) is an assistant professor at the Neurology Clinic UPJS FM, she also works as a neurologist at L. Pasteur University Hospital in Kosice. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Slovak Neurological Society, Slovak Society for Clinical Neurophysiology, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Chief expert for Neurology at the Ministry of Health SR for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. She has been a team member of several scientific projects and grants: VEGA SAV 1/0348/09, APVV-0220-10, Research Project ‘Incentives for Research and Development’, Ministry of Education No. 3620/2010-11 and No. 3612/2010-11. Research outputs: 115 scientific publications, including 10 scientific papers in peer-reviewed SSCI journals, 4 university textbooks.
