Vladimira Timkova

Dr. Vladimíra Timková (1987) graduated in psychology, specialisation in Clinical Psychology, at the PJ Safarik University in Kosice, Faculty of Sciences/Arts. In January 2013 she started to work at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, PJ Safarik University in Kosice as a junior scientific researcher. She defended her PhD thesis at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands in 2020 on a sleep apnea disease. Her main research activities include examining factors associated with physical disability and quality of life in patients with a chronic disease and implementation of eHealth and mHealth apps, in particular computer-based Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (cCBT). V. Timkova is the first author of 5 current contents full-text articles. Both researchers presented the outcomes of their work at several international conferences.
